Grisel is an Earth Scientist and Technology Enthusiast. Her passion is transforming creative scientific ideas into user-friendly applications to help in problem-solving.
B.S. cum laude in Geological Engineering and has a Master Degree in Reservoir Geology at Montpellier University in France. She has an accomplished academic background; full-tuition scholarship from European Union, Campus France, Full tuition from ICON PISA and Konrad Adenauer Scholarship. She has been chosen to represent Bolivia at the Summer School Total in Paris, France and been awarded travel grants to attend conferences in Russia and Rome from the International Association of Sedimentologist in which she acts as National Correspondent Representative for Bolivia.
+10 years of work experience in different countries like Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, France, and Malaysia, both in Exploration and Development including several domains from Fieldwork Geology, Petrophysics, and 3D Reservoir Modeling. Grisel has an extensive Outcrop and Sedimentology experience in Western Cordillera, North and South Subdandean of Bolivia and northern Argentina, Deepwater Angola, Offshore Japan, Santos Basin, Brazil and Carbonate basins in Central Luconia Malaysia. Grisel is proficient in several languages including Spanish, English, French, Italian, and Portuguese.
She is keen to learn new skills and attain new information, adaptable to various situations and very good at troubleshooting under pressure and capable of being an active team player.
She is also a tutor in Tu Beca Bolivia and, a non-profit aimed at helping young Bolivians get access to scholarships.
